Word 2003: AutoComplete

By default, AutoComplete is enabled. This feature allows Word to display a ScreenTip anytime you type the first few characters of a saved AutoText entry. Once you see the tooltip, you can press [ENTER] to place the full AutoText entry into your document.

If this feature (enabled by default) bothers you, you can turn it off following these steps:

  1. Choose Insert on the Menu bar
  3. Click AutoText: AutoText
