PowerPoint 2007: Using Spell Check

As you type, PowerPoint is already checking Spelling and Grammar behind the scenes. You’ve probably already seen the nice red, wavy underline under words that PowerPoint doesn’t recognize.

 Checking Spelling Using the Ribbon

1.       Click the Spelling command in the Proofing tab on the Review tab

2.       For each error, choose Change, Change All or Ignore, Ignore All

3.       When complete, click Close

Checking Spelling & Grammar Using the Ribbon

1.       Right-click any word with a red, wavy underline

2.       Choose a spelling correction from the Shortcut Menu
