PowerPoint 2003: Adding Emphasis

Unlike Entrance and Exit effects, Emphasis effects don’t begin until after the text is already on the screen. So, when thinking about order of effects (because, remember, any one placeholder can have multiple effects), it’s good to first assign an entrance effect, then assign an emphasis effect.

Adding Custom Emphasis Effects to Text and Graphics

  1. Select a text placeholder or a graphic
  3. View the Custom Animation Task Pane
  5. Click Add Effect in the Custom Animation Task Pane
  7. Choose Emphasis
  9. Choose More Effects…

    6.       Choose any effect

    7.       Click OK
