PowerPoint 2003: Adding a Header & Footer

When you think of inserting things like page numbers, you probably automatically go to Headers and Footers. Text or graphics that appear in the top or bottom areas of a presentation are your Headers and Footers.

Typically, Headers and Footers print on most, if not all, slides in your presentation. This could include things like a slide number or company logo.

Adding a Header &/or Footer to a Slide

     
  1. Choose View: Header & Footer from the Menu bar
     
  2.  
  3. Choose the Slide tab

    3.       Choose your Header & Footer elements

    4.       Click Apply or Apply to All

Adding a Header &/or Footer to Notes and Handouts

     
  1. Choose View: Header & Footer from the Menu bar
     
  2.  
  3. Choose the Notes and Handouts tab
