The Navigation Pane displays on the left side of the Outlook window.

In the Navigation Pane, you’ll see “Go” buttons for Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Notes, Folder List and Shortcuts.

The “Go” buttons provide quick access to the different information management areas of Outlook

To see more of your Inbox and less of the Navigation Pane, you can minimize the Navigation Pane to appear as a slim profile.

…using the Arrow

  1. Click the Arrow in the upper-right corner of the Navigation Pane

… using the Menu

  1. Choose View: Navigation Pane
  3. Choose Normal (or Minimized)

  1. Double-click the edge of the Navigation Pane
