Excel 2003: Creating a New Workbook

You already know that when you launch the Excel program, you’re automatically greeted with a new, blank workbook that contains three worksheets. That’s convenient, right?

But, there are times when you need to start from scratch and having to close the program and open it again just to create another new document would be a tremendous waste of time. Here are a couple of quick ways to open a brand new, blank workbook.

  1. Choose File from the Menu bar
     
  2.  
  3. Choose New

   3.      From the New Workbook Task Pane, click Blank workbook
