Whether you use the Forms Wizard or the Form Tool to create your initial form, you’ll probably want to make a few design changes to the layout of your form.
All changes you need to make to your Form can be made in Design View.
Figure 43. Form Design View
In Form Design View, you can see the structure of your form including the Header, Detail, and Footer sections.
Text Boxes and/or Controls that appear in the Form Header section of the form will appear at the top of each form/record as it is displayed.
Text Boxes and/or Controls that appear in the Detail section of the form will change based on the record that is being displayed. Typically, this is the data that changes from record to record in the underlying table or query.
Text Boxes and/or Controls that appear in the Form Footer section of the form will appear at the bottom of each form/record as it is displayed.
Although you can’t see the data from the underlying table or query in Design View, you do have a good deal of control over the text boxes, their size and placement. Plus, in Design View, you can add and remove fields and work with advanced form properties.
