Error Message: “License Key Has Already Been Used”

Introduction
As easy as we try to make courseware activation, occasionally an error will be seen. One such error is the message, “License Key Has Already Been Used.” Along with this error, the top of your screen will say, “No License Issued,” while within the Expiration Date column, you’ll see the message, “License Key Has Already Been Used.”

Resolution
When you see this message, it means that all activations on your license key have been used.

In order to overcome this error, you’ll need to submit a support ticket asking a member of the KeyStone Customer Support team to reset your courseware activation key.

When you submit your support ticket, be sure to include:

  • Your 4-digit order number (if you have it); and,
  • The reason you are re-activating the key

It’s also helpful for our Support team to know if this is the first time you are activating your software as there may be a problem with your Windows Media Player installation.

If this did not answer your question, please see the other support articles or submit a support ticket.
