I’m Having Video Playback Problems
Introduction
Video playback problems can include:
- Choppy Video
- Non-Continuous Video
- “Ghosting” of Previous Video Content
- Video That Is Not Properly Scaled
These issues are often easily resolved with a simple (and free) upgrade.
Resolution
The first step you can take to resolve any of the above video playback problems is to view your video in “detached” mode by selected the Detached Video button.
If viewing the video in detached mode does not resolve the issue, you can probably resolve the problem by upgrading to the latest version of Windows Media Player.
Click here to download the latest version of Windows Media Player or copy and paste the following web address into your Internet browser address bar: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx.
Be sure to follow the onscreen instructions for downloading and installing the latest Windows Media Player version.
