Error Message: “Problem Updating Data”
Introduction
As easy as we try to make courseware activation, occasionally an error will be seen. One such error is the message, “Problem Updating Data.”
Resolution
You may see this error if you are running Windows Firewall. Typically, the error occurs after you have submitted your access key.
If you see the error, “Problem Updating Data,” follow these steps:
- Turn off Windows Firewall (See your Windows Help System for instructions)
- Submit your activation key
- Wait until activation has completed
- Turn your Windows Firewall back on (See your Windows Help System for instructions)
