Word 2007: WordArt

WordArtWordArt has been around for several versions of the Microsoft Word program and with its new WordArt Tools Format Contextual Tab, it’s easier to use than ever.

 

Creating a WordArt Graphic

1.       Choose the WordArt command in the Text group on the Insert tab

2.       Select your WordArt style

3.       Enter your text in the Edit WordArt Text Dialog Box

4.       Click OK

Deleting a WordArt Graphic

1.       Select the WordArt

2.       Press [Delete]



 

Working with the WordArt Tab

Like most things related to graphics, WordArt has its own contextual tab. Once again, you’ve seen most of these groups before including Styles, Shadow Effects, 3-D Effects, Arrange and Size. But, there is one new group – Text.

With the Text group on the   WordArt Tools Format Contextual Tab you can edit existing WordArt text and   work with WordArt spacing options.

Editing a WordArt Graphic Text

1.       Select the WordArt graphic

2.       Click the Edit Text command in the Text group on the WordArt Tools Format Contextual Tab

3.       Change the text

4.       Click OK
