Word 2007: Page Backgrounds & Page Borders

Just like adding borders and shading to your text can add visual interest, so can adding a document background or page border.

Page Borders

Adding a Page Border Using the Ribbon

1.       Click inside the page you want to apply the border to

2.       Click the Page Borders command in the Page Background group on the Page Layout tab

3.       Set your border settings and click OK



 

Removing a Page Border

1.       Click inside the page you want to remove the border from

2.       Click the Page Borders command in the Page Background group on the Page Layout tab

3.       Choose None under Setting and click OK

1.       Click inside the page you want to apply the border to

2.       Click the Page Color command in the Page Background group on the Page

3.       Choose a Color

Removing a Page Background Using the Ribbon

1.       Click inside the page you want to apply the border to

2.       Click the Page Color command in the Page Background group on the Page

3.       Choose No Color
