Word 2003: WordArt

 WordArt has been around for several versions of the Microsoft Word program. It provides a great way to incorporate unique and sometimes funky text within the context of your Word document.

Creating a WordArt Graphic

     
  1. If it isn’t already displayed, display the Drawing toolbar (right-click any toolbar and choose Drawing from the Shortcut menu)
     
  2.  
  3. Choose the WordArt command on the Drawing toolbar

    3.       Select your WordArt style

    4.       Click OK

    5.       Enter your text in the Edit WordArt Text Dialog Box

    6.       Click OK

Deleting a WordArt Graphic

     
  1. Select the WordArt
     
  2.  
  3. Press [Delete]
     

Editing WordArt

Once you’ve created a WordArt object, you can use the WordArt toolbar to modify the object.

  1. Select the WordArt graphic
     
  2.  
  3. Click the Edit Text command on the WordArt toolbar
     
  4.  
  5. Change the text
     
  6.  
  7. Click OK
     

Changing the WordArt Style

     
  1. Select the WordArt graphic
     
  2.  
  3. Click the WordArt Gallery command on the WordArt toolbar
     
  4.  
  5. Select a WordArt design
     
  6.  
  7. Click OK
     

Changing the WordArt Color and Text Wrapping Options

     
  1. Select the WordArt graphic
     
  2.  
  3. Click the Format WordArt command on the WordArt toolbar
     
  4.  
  5. Apply your formatting options
     
  6.  
  7. Click OK
     

Modify the Shape of a WordArt Object

     
  1. Select the WordArt graphic
     
  2.  
  3. Click the WordArt Shape command on the WordArt toolbar
     
  4.  
  5. Choose a shape
