Word 2003: Using Captions

When you begin using images throughout your documents, it’s often desirable to label those images. This is where captioning comes in handy.

     
  1. Select the image to which you are adding a caption
     
  2.  
  3. Choose Insert from the Menu bar
     
  4.  
  5. Choose Reference: Caption…

    4.       Select the label and position

    5.       Enter your caption text in the top box

    6.       Click OK
