Word 2003: Adding Symbols & Special Characters

Every now and then, you’ll need to insert a special character or symbol not available on your standard keyboard. Many of the most common symbols have already been added to the AutoCorrect list. In this case, you’ll just need to remember the AutoCorrect entry.

However, there will be times when you need something outside of the AutoCorrect. So, in this section, we’ll review inserting symbols both from AutoCorrect and adding additional symbols not stored in AutoCorrect.
