PowerPoint 2007: Using the Thesaurus & Research Panes

With the Thesaurus and Research feature, you can look up synonyms and antonyms for selected words.

1.       Click the Thesaurus command in the Proofing group on the Review tab

2.       If the word you are looking up isn’t displayed in the Thesaurus task pane,
type it in

3.       Click the Go () button

4.       From the list of found words, select a word

5.       Click the drop-down arrow next to the word you’ve chosen and click Insert

Within the Task Pane, you can change where you are looking. For instance, by default the Thesaurus has been chosen, but you click the drop-down arrow (just below the Go button) and choose a different reference book or research site.
