PowerPoint 2003: Printing

Sooner or later, everyone wants to print all or part of their presentation. Let’s look at the Print Dialog box options first. Then, we’ll move to printing presentations.

Using the Print Dialog Box

There are several options in the PowerPoint Print Dialog Box not necessarily found in other Office 2003 programs.

Most of differences are located in the bottom third of this box.

Printing Presentations

     
  1. Choose File: Print from the Menu bar
     
  2.  
  3. In the Print Dialog Box, choose Slides under Print What
     
  4.  
  5. Click OK
     

Printing Handouts

Having the ability to print handouts is a great PowerPoint feature because you get to determine how many slides appear on each handout page.

 Handouts 1 Per Page

 Handouts 2 Per Page

 Handouts 3 Per Page

 Handouts 4 Per Page

Printing Handouts
     
  1.  Choose File: Print from the Menu bar
     
  2.  
  3. In the Print Dialog Box, choose Handouts under Print What
     
  4.  
  5. In the Print Dialog Box, choose the number of slides per page under Handouts
     
  6.  
  7. Click OK
