PowerPoint 2003: Grouping & Ungrouping Objects

Often, you’re in a position of combining several objects together to create one look.

Once you have everything where you want it, it’s a good idea to physically “group” them together. This way, several objects can move as one.

Grouping Objects

     
  1. Select the first object you want included in your group
     
  2.  
  3. While holding [Shift], click each additional object you want included in your group
     
  4.  
  5. Right-click the selected shape and choose Grouping: Group from the Shortcut menu
     

Ungrouping Objects

     
  1. Select the object you want to ungroup
     
  2.  
  3. Right-click the selected shape and choose Grouping: UnGroup from the Shortcut menu
