Outlook 2007: Using the Task Tab

When you create a new task using the Task Window, the Task Tab appears to assist you with common task commands.

The Actions group on the Task tab contains all the commands you need for saving and deleting the open task.

The Show group on the Task tab contains only two commands for changing which information you can view in regard to the open task.

The Manage Task group on the Task Tab contains commands for assigning a task to someone else and marking a task as complete.

The Options group on the Task tab contains commands for choosing your task category and follow up settings. Additionally, you can use the Recurrence command to create a recurring task.

The Proofing group on the Task tab contains only one command – Spelling.
