Outlook 2007: Creating a Recurring Task

Recurring tasks are those tasks that happen on a regular basis such as a creating the agenda for a weekly staff meeting. Creating a recurring task is nearly the same as creating a regular task with the addition of one step.

Creating an Recurring Task 

     
  1. Click Tasks in the Task Pane
     
  2.  
  3. Open the New Task Window
      (Choose the New Task Tool or Double-Click the Task Pane)
     
  4.  
  5. Enter the task details
     
  6.  
  7.  Choose the Recurrence command in the Options group on the Task tab

    5.       Set your Task Recurrence Options

    6.       Click OK

    7.       Choose Save & Close in the Actions group on the Task tab
