Outlook 2007: Creating a Journal Entry

Before we get into having Outlook create Journal entries automatically, let’s look at working with individual Journal entries.

Recording a Journal Entry

     
  1. Choose File on the Menu Bar
     
  2.  
  3. Choose New
     
  4.  
  5. Choose Journal Entry

    4.       Type a description in the Subject Box

    5.       Choose a Journal entry type in the Entry Type box

    6.       Set your remaining journal options

    7.       Choose the Save & Close command in the Actions group on the Journal Entry tab

Viewing Journal Entries

     
  1. Choose Go from the Menu Bar
     
  2.  
  3. Choose Journal
     
  4.  
  5. Navigate to the day you want to view
