Outlook 2003: Forwarding Contacts

Forwarding Contacts is one of the coolest Outlook features. You can actually take the information you’ve saved for a particular contact and e-mail it without re-typing anything or even using Copy & Paste.

And, you can send the Contact information in Outlook format (which allows the recipient to save it to their Outlook Contacts) or as a business card.

Forwarding a Contact in Outlook Format Using the Menu Bar

     
  1. Select a Contact in Address Card View
     
  2.  
  3. Choose Actions: Forward from the Menu bar
     
  4.  
  5. Address and Send the new e-mail message
     

Forwarding a Contact in Outlook Format Using the Shortcut Menu

     
  1. Right-click a Contact in Address Card View
     
  2.  
  3. Choose Forward from the Shortcut menu
     
  4.  
  5. Address and Send the new e-mail message
     

Attaching Multiple Contacts to an E-Mail Message

     
  1. Create a new e-mail message
     
  2.  
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Insert File command on the E-mail Standard toolbar
     
  4.  
  5. Choose Item… from the drop-down list

   4.      Select Contacts from the Look in: list

   5.      Select the contacts you want to attach
(Press and hold [Ctrl] while selecting multiple contacts)

   6.      Click OK

   7.      Click Send
