Excel 2007: Splitting Your Worksheet View

When you’re working with larger sets of data, being able to split your worksheet view can be really beneficial. By splitting a worksheet view, you’re able to compare data that appears at the top of your screen with data that appears at the bottom of your screen.

Splitting Your Worksheet View Using the Ribbon

     
  1. Position your cursor below and to the right of where you want your split lines drawn
     
  2.  
  3.  Click the Split command in the Window group on the View tab
     

Splitting Your Worksheet View by Double-Clicking

     
  1. Position your cursor below and to the right of where you want your split lines drawn

  3. Double-click the Split line either to the right of the horizontal scroll bar or at the top of the vertical scroll bar
