Excel 2007: Freezing & Unfreezing Your View

Excel 2007: Freezing & Unfreezing Your View

If you’ve ever worked with row after row of data, you know how frustrating it can be to scroll down to row 56 only to discover you can no longer read the headings in row 4. This is where freezing your panes can help.

By freezing your view, you can keep certain rows and/or columns on your screen, at all times. So, it won’t matter if you’re working with row 10 or row 10,000, you’ll still see the row or columns you’ve frozen.
