Excel 2007: Exporting Data from Excel

Exporting data from Excel is really just a matter of determining in what format the data will be used. One of the most common export formats is to a comma separated value (.csv) because it can be read by a multitude of other programs including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access.

The only thing to remember (and Excel will remind you in case you forget), is that Excel will only export the current worksheet, not the entire workbook.

     
  1. Open the Office Menu
     
  2.  
  3. Choose Save As
     
  4.  
  5. Choose the Save As type and file name
     
  6.  
  7. Click Save
     
  8.  
  9. Click OK
     
  10.  
  11. Click Yes
