A worksheet background is simply a graphic image tiled behind your worksheet text. But, any background that you apply will not print so it’s purely for your on-screen enjoyment.

 
1. Click the Format on the Menu bar
    
 
2. Choose Sheet: Background…

   3.      Navigate to and select the picture to use for the worksheet background

   4.      Click Insert
