Access 2007: Using the Field List Task Pane

The Field List Task Pane is an easy way to add new fields to your forms and reports. With the Field List Task Pane, adding fields is a simple matter of dragging and dropping (or, even just double-clicking).

With the Field List, you’re not just limited to the fields in the current record source. You can access all the fields in the database by clicking the Show all tables link at the bottom of the Field List.

  3. Choose the Add Existing Fields command in the Tools group on the Format Design Tools Design Contextual tab
