Access 2007: Printing Reports

Access 2007: Printing Reports

Just like with Forms, it’s a good idea to preview your report before you send it to the printer. This way, you have an opportunity to double-check the page settings, such as the margins or page orientation. Access saves the page settings with the report not the program, so you need to set them only once.

Printing a Report

  1. Open the report you want to print

  2.
  3.  Choose the View command in the Views group on the Home tab

  4.
  5. Choose Print Preview

  6.
  7. Choose the Print command in the Print group on the Print Preview tab

Modifing Report Page Settings

Although you can set report page settings in other views, the easiest place is in Print Preview because you can see your changes in the new Access 2007 results-oriented view by using the Page Layout group.
