Access 2007: Export Your Access Table to Excel

Sending a datasheet to Excel not only allows it to be viewed by people more accustomed to using the Excel program as opposed to Access, but it also gives you the ability to edit and analyze the datasheet outside of Access.

Exporting an Access Datasheet to Excel

     
  1. Open the datasheet you want to export
     
  2.  
  3.  Choose the Excel command in the Export group on the External Data tab

    3.       Choose a File Name and File Location

    4.       Specify your export options

    5.       Click OK

    6.       Click Close

    7.       Switch to Excel to view your datasheet
