Access 2007: Creating a Database from Scratch

On the off chance that you can’t find a close database match from the templates Microsoft offers, you’ll need to start from scratch to build your database. This means that not only will you need to create the database file, but that you’ll also be responsible for developing every database object including Tables, Forms, Queries & Reports.

Now, it’s not an impossible task, just time consuming.

Creating a Blank Database

     
  1. Open the Office Menu
     
  2.  
  3. Click New
     
  4.  
  5. Select Blank Database
     
  6.  
  7. Enter a File Name
     
  8.  
  9. Click Create
