Access 2003: Identify Object Dependencies

Access 2003: Identify Object Dependencies

The Object Dependencies task pane is where you can go to visually see which database objects are related. But, you don’t see the same thing you would as if you were looking at the Relationships window.

Instead, with the Object Dependencies task pane, you can see two different views:

  • Objects that depend on a selected object

  •
  • Objects a selected object depends upon

For instance, if you wanted to see the Record Source for a selected form or report, you can quickly gather that information in the Object Dependencies task pane.
