Access 2003: Export Your Access Table to Excel

Sending a datasheet to Excel not only allows it to be viewed by people more accustomed to using the Excel program as opposed to Access, but it also gives you the ability to edit and analyze the datasheet outside of Access.

     
  1. Open the datasheet you want to export
     
  2.  
  3. Choose File: Export from the Menu bar

   3.      Next to Save as type, click the drop-down arrow and choose Microsoft Excel 97-2003 (*.xls)

   4.      Next to File Name, enter a file name

   5.      Click Export All

   6.      Switch to Microsoft Excel to open your exported file
