What is KeyStone OnDemand?

KeyStone OnDemand is considered a Software-As-A-Service (or SAAS) solution, which refers to computer based applications and services that are provided via remote delivery to end users rather than as a packaged product to be purchased and installed by the end user. KeyStone OnDemand allows your organization to immediately start learning, so product licensing includes everything you need, so you don’t need to worry about hidden IT, support and/or technology costs that can quickly add up to as much as ten times the original licensing fees.

What browser is required to access the course?

KeyStone OnDemand works with the most commonly used browsers (including Microsoft Internet Explorer 9+ and the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome) and operating systems (Windows Vista/7/8, Mac OSX 10.6+) supporting Adobe Flash Player 10 or later. For optimal performance, computer’s should have at least a 1.6GHz processor or faster (e.g. Intel P4, Core Duo, etc) with an internet connection supporting 1Mbps or higher download speed.

Can I access from more than one computer?

Yes. Each course license is intended for one user only; however you can access the training from multiple machines and locations. In order to prevent abuse, we do track the IP numbers and may audit an organization that has a user account that is logging in from multiple IP addresses or indicates abnormal usage.

What Internet connection speed is required?

A broadband connection (1Mbps or faster) is recommended.

How does KeyStone OnDemand work?

In the same way you would log on to your favorite Web site, you can securely connect to KeyStone OnDemand and begin learning without any additional IT Administration or support required. Built on a world-class infrastructure and delivered via a distributed web platform, KeyStone OnDemand allows your organization to easily manage and share information easily through any internet connection.

Can my entire organization use KeyStone OnDemand?

Yes. KeyStone OnDemand allows you to add as many users your licensing allows within your organization that you want, from any physical location. As the IT Administrator of a given account (e.g. ABC LLC), you have the ability to add and assign course licenses to users within your organization.

What IT infrastructure do I need to run KeyStone OnDemand?

Since KeyStone OnDemand is an on-demand service delivered over the web, there is no hardware or software to buy, install, or maintain. Just point your browser to your organization’s custom-branded login page and enter your username and password.

With KeyStone OnDemand, your organization can be up and running within 2-4 business hours, depending upon when your order is confirmed and processed. A control panel is provided which allows for bulk importing users from a spreadsheet. Instructions are provided within the system.

KeyStone OnDemand offers almost limitless scalability and capacity to take on your additional users throughout the world. Do you provide support to our end-users?

KeyStone OnDemand provides unlimited Tier 1 support via email for licensed users and optional Tier 2 support over the phone for organizations that would like to upgrade their support options. The majority of email support issues are addressed within 2-4 hours of receiving it.

Can you customize KeyStone OnDemand for our organization?

The standard version of KeyStone OnDemand offers the same functionality and features to each organization, including the ability to add your own customer logo and branding. Is KeyStone OnDemand available in other languages besides English?

At this time the KeyStone OnDemand interface is only available in English; however, other languages, such as German, French and Spanish are planned in a future release.

What type of content can KeyStone OnDemand host?

KeyStone OnDemand allows you to create your own resources, including videos and articles. Videos can be created using the built-in, web-based screencast recording tool—no software installation needed. Video resources can also be created by uploading your own, existing video files. File types accepted are mp4, avi, wmv, flv, and mov. Instructions for converting your GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, WebEx, or Live Meeting videos to an accept format are found on this page (http://www.keystonelearning.com/kod/faq). Articles can be created in which images (png, jpg, gif, bmp) and Flash files (swf) may be uploaded and embedded. Files can be attached to articles as well, accepted formats include pdf and Office documents.

Can I upload a GoToMeeting or GoToWebinar recording to KeyStone OnDemand?

Yes. If your GoToMeeting or GoToWebinar recording is in the *Windows Media Video** (WMV)* format, you can download a free converter from Microsoft called "Windows Media Encoder" that will allow you to convert recorded meetings into single movie files that can than be uploaded to KeyStone OnDemand to be used as a stand-alone video asset or added to your custom course using KeyStone OnDemand's Course Builder. To download the converter from Microsoft, please visit http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/encoder/default.mspx.

To convert your recording into the correct format, you will need to use the "Windows Media Stream Editor" program distributed with "Windows Media Encoder." To locate "Windows Media Stream Editor," go to your Start menu, find "Windows Media" and locate "Windows Media Stream Editor" within the Utilities subfolder. Once "Windows Media Stream Editor" is open: 1) Choose the WMV file by clicking "Add Source" than 2) Click "Add;" 3) Then click "Choose File" to choose a name and location for your output file; 4) And finally click "Start." The completed file should now be ready to upload to KeyStone OnDemand.

Can I upload a Cisco WebEx recording to KeyStone OnDemand?

Yes. If your Cisco WebEx recording is in WebEx's *WebEx Recording Format (WRF)* format, you can download a free Recording Converter from WebEx to convert recorded meetings into single movie files that can than be uploaded to KeyStone OnDemand to be used as a stand-alone video asset or added to your custom course using KeyStone OnDemand's Course Builder. To download the converter from WebEx, please visit https://mymeetings.webex.com/client/wbs25-vzbprodins/ateditor.msi.

Once you have installed the "WebEx Recording Editor:" 1) open your .wrf file; then 2) Click "File --> Export to" and then determine a file name.

It is recommended to use the default options provided for conversion. The completed file should now be ready to upload to KeyStone OnDemand.

Can I upload a Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 recording to KeyStone OnDemand?
Yes. If your Microsoft Live Meeting recording is in Microsoft's *High Fidelity Presentation (HFP)* format, you can download a free Recording Converter for Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 to convert recorded meetings into single movie files that can than be uploaded to KeyStone OnDemand to be used as a stand-alone video asset or added to your custom course using KeyStone OnDemand's Course Builder.
