This Microsoft Word 2007 training course is valuable to both new and experienced Word users. If you are new, you'll simply start with Level 1 -- right at the beginning. We'll move you quickly from creating new documents to the point where you can add page numbers and format multi-level lists.

If you've already been around the block a time or two with Microsoft Word, you'll love this Microsoft Word 2007 Training course because it consists of short, succinct, standalone topics. This structure means you don't have to wade through content that you already know. You can skip directly to the Word 2007 training topics you want to learn about.

Word 2007 Training topics include:

* Working with section breaks to create unique headers and footers throughout a document
* Adding robust tables with calculations
* Creating and protecting forms
* Creating a mail merge for different data sources
* Collaborating with team members using Word's Comments, Document Compare with Legal Blackline and Track Changes options

Are you still reading? Good. Because, there's more.

Our Microsoft Office Word 2007 training course is best enhanced when viewed with our fresh learning platform that merges the best Learning Management Systems (LMS) and knowledgebase features into a slick enterprise-wide Software as a Service (SaaS) application.

What does that mean for you?

* Online, 24/7 access to full Microsoft Word 2007 Training course content that is also available as searchable, bite-sized training articles and videos that can be quickly found when needed through a handy, quick search feature.  (Training you need, when you need it)

The Complete Microsoft Word 2007 Training Solution (because you need a plan)

We think this Microsoft Word 2007 Training course is great, and we believe you'll think so, too.  We could go on and on about the benefits of training and how it positively impacts user productivity ultimately resulting in a net gain of getting more done in a shorter amount of time. But, you already know all of that.

What you don't know is what makes us different.

KeyStone Learning Systems offers comprehensive training solutions for enterprise clients. What does that mean? If you're a company looking for high quality Microsoft Word 2007 end-user training you can track and assign with the ability to customize the off-the-shelf content, we can help.

Some Quick Microsoft Word 2007 Training Tips

Word 2007 Training Tip: Use the ALT Key to Select a Column of Text

There are two little known shortcuts for selecting text in Microsoft Word 2007. First, by holding CTRL when you click a line, Word will select the sentence, from punctuation mark to punctuation mark.

The second has a little more of a "wow" factor. In Word 2007, all selection techniques require you to select a continuous range. You can't really select only a portion of a document without highlighting the entire line. But, what if you were typing an agenda with times listed on the left and speakers listed on the right? How would you highlight just the times to format that text in Bold?

By using your ALT key, that's how. When you hold down your ALT key and drag your mouse, you can select a column of information in Word instead of entire lines and paragraphs. (Microsoft Word 2007 Training Tips: © KeyStone Learning Systems)

Word 2007 Training Tip: Use a Keyboard Shortcut to Change Your Line Spacing

In Word 2007, you can change your line spacing between single, double and space and a half using simple keyboard shortcuts. Press CTRL+1 for a single spaced paragraph, CTRL+2 for a double spaced paragraph and CTRL+5 to set a paragraph's spacing to one and a half lines.  (Microsoft Word 2007 Training Tips: © KeyStone Learning Systems)

Word 2007 Training Tip: Merge and Compare More than 2 Files

Word's Compare feature is limited to only two files. But, if you need to compare more than this, you can do it in pieces. In other words, compare the first two files. Then, save the result of the comparison This way, you can use the saved comparison as the original document in another compare. Just continue this way until you've merged and compared every file, each time just comparing the next file with the result of the most recent comparison. Word 2007 Training Tip: Quickly Return to Your Last Cursor Position

Editing a long document and tired of scrolling? In Word 2007 you can use SHIFT+F5 to return to your last cursor editing position. (Microsoft Word 2007 Training Tips: © KeyStone Learning Systems)

Word 2007 Training Tip: SmartTags

When you work in Word 2007, you may see the SmartTags menu. This menu pops up often when you're pasting text. It says "Ctrl" on it and when you click it, you can choose the formatting for the text you just pasted into this new location. This works well for keeping the formatting of the text from the source location or pasting it in as plain text to strip out all formatting.
