Microsoft Outlook 2007 Training: Course Description
This Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 training course appeals to new and experienced Outlook users. That’s our goal, anyway. We don’t know how many brand new Outlook users are left out there, but surely there’s a few.
If you are new, you’ll simply start with Level 1 – right at the beginning. We’ll move you quickly from creating your first e-mail message and even get you to the point where you can create distribution lists and manage your loads of incoming mail. And, that’s just in the first level.

Think you already know everything there is to know about Outlook 2010?
If you already have a modicum of experience with previous versions of Outlook, you’ll love this course because it, like our other Microsoft Office 2007 courses, consists of short, succinct, standalone topics. This structure means you don’t have to wade through content that you already know. You can skip directly to the topics you want to learn about.
Of course, you can read the outline, but here’s what you’ll get…in a nutshell
Outlook 2007 Training topics include:
- Marking message importance and working with Styles
- Creating and using distribution lists based on contacts you added from messages you’ve received
- Printing attachments directly from Outlook
- Creating recurring appointments and tasks
- Using Outlook’s Quick Search feature
- Creating and working with custom signatures
- Filtering, finding and flagging messages
- Archiving Outlook data
- Using Rules and Conditional Formatting to organize your Outlook data
Are you still reading? Good. Because, we have more to talk about.
Our Microsoft Outlook 2007 training course is best enhanced when viewed with our fresh learning platform that merges the best Learning Management Systems (LMS) and knowledgebase features into a slick enterprise-wide Software as a Service (SaaS) application.
The Complete Microsoft Outlook 2007 Training Solution (because you need a plan)

We think this Microsoft Outlook 2007 training course is great, and we hope you’ll think so, too. We could go on and on about the benefits of training and how it positively impacts user productivity ultimately resulting in a net gain of getting more done in a shorter amount of time. But, you already know all of that.
What you don't know is what makes us different.

Some Quick Microsoft Outlook 2007 Training Tips
Outlook 2007 TRAINING TIP: delete a name from the autocomplete list
Each time you send or receive an e-mail message, Outlook keeps track of the e-mail addresses. This is what populates the AutoComplete list in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields of a new e-mail message. But, people often change their e-mail addresses. However, when a message comes in from a new e-mail address, Outlook won’t automatically remove the old.
When you see a defunct e-mail address suggested in your AutoComplete list, click the small “x” on the right side of the address. This removes that old address from Outlook’s memory. (Microsoft Outlook 2007 Training Tips: © KeyStone Learning Systems)
OUTLOOK 2007 TRAINING TIP: have replies to your message go to a different email address
In Outlook, you can specify a different e-mail address when one of your recipients hits the Reply button. From a new e-mail message, click the Direct Replies To option on the ribbon’s Options tab. This opens the message’s Properties dialog.
Under Delivery options, change the e-mail address next to Have replies sent to and then click Close. This reply e-mail customization affects only the current e-mail message. (Microsoft Outlook 2007 Training Tips: © KeyStone Learning Systems)
